My name is Kiri Steed and I am one of the Deputy Principals with responsibility for the SENCo and Learning Support Coordinator role. This is the start of my 16th year at Lincoln Heights School.
In this role I work with teachers, children, and their whānau from across the school when the need for additional support is identified. I liaise with outside support agencies to determine the best pathways for learning success.
This includes behavioural issues, gifted and talented learners, learners whose first language is not English, and children with medical conditions as well as children with learning concerns. I also work with and look after our valuable team of Teacher Aides.
