A place to record my thoughts on leadership, learning and school life.

Stepping into the role of Principal, even in an Acting capacity is one not to be taken lightly. As a principal you carry the responsibility not only of the children in the school, but also their whanau, your staff and the school's place within the wider community.
Although I have often stood in as principal in Debbie's absence, it has never been for longer than a term. This opportunity is one that I am relishing. There have been considerable challenges - such as the management of the shade structure damage, but fortunately for us as a school, we have a strong leadership team who are there to support us.
Please remember to keep in touch if you have any questions or concerns. From my perspective we are moving forward with the support of our staff, Board and school community.
