Lincoln Heights School Uniform
Important Information
Lincoln
Heights School is a fully uniformed school.
All students are expected to wear full school uniform, in good
condition every day to school, while at school and while going home from
school.
Correct
uniform is:
- Green polo shirt
- Blue cargo shorts,
skort or cargo pants
- Green fleece jacket
or blue sweatshirt
- Black or white laced
/velcroed shoes (no slip-ons)
- Black sandals with
back strap (no jandals)
- Black or white socks
(not patterned)
- School raincoat
- Year 7 & 8 –
yellow PE T-shirt
- In Terms 1 and 4,
sunhats/caps are to be worn outside.
- Navy blue or black
scarves
Please
help our children to respect the school and themselves by keeping uniform neat
and tidy. Please encourage your children to change out of their uniform after
school as this will help to keep the uniform in good order. Ripped or torn
clothing should be replaced or repaired.
- Hair shoulder length
or more to be tied back.
- Nails should be free
of polish.
- Faces should be free
of make-up.
- Beanies are not
permitted
- One piercing per ear
is allowed – no other piercing is permitted.
- Lip balm – if needed
– must be a clear vaseline type – not gloss.
- Items with cultural
or religious significance may be worn only if the Principal has a letter
from the parent/caregiver.
Uniform
is available via the school office. You need to pay for uniform when it is
ordered. Delivery will be within 2 weeks of the payment of any order. WINZ
quotes are available on request at the office.
If
your family is having difficulties with purchasing a uniform for your children, please
notify their class teacher/s in the first instance. Class
teachers have a clear understanding of what the uniform requirements are and
are able to follow up to support if there are issues to be addressed. In the event that your child is wearing incorrect or incomplete uniform, please send a note to school stating how long they will be out of uniform, so they can get a uniform pass.
