Spotlight on.... WRITING!

Check out our author of the week.... William has written a fabulous simlie poem, comparing violets and roses.

                                                                              Violets and Roses

The Violet looks like a purple pastel,

shy and desperate,

not cared for.

The Rose looks like a crimson jewel queen,

demanding and looked after.

The Violet is soft,

like an expensive cloth of silk.

The Rose is sharp,

like a tigers tooth.

The Violet sounds like a group of shy children,

singing together,

quietly.

The Rose sounds like a loud queen,

blabbing about how beautiful she is.
