Room 8 : The warriors
Kia ora, and welcome to room eight’s web page! We hope you enjoy reading about what we get up to in class!!
For arts this term, we have been doing drama. We play games such as: Martha’s theatre, Dude!, Wink murder, etc. We’re also working on something else, but that’s still to come. :-) Sometimes we talk, but we get the job done, and we get it done well. (: We've learnt to make eye contact, to speak clearly and to try and be comfortable and to do things that we wouldn't normally do.
Static Images!!
We have all been working on static images. Do you know what a static image is? It’s an image that doesn’t move, such as a poster or a billboard. Our message is to a general audience, we're trying to get people to save our streams, and to love them and not leave them. =)

Poems ‘n things...
Aren’t we lucky? Over the past week, we have been working with an author, Paula .G.
She has taught us how to write poems and how to space them out, so a normal poem is turned into music! Now, every single one of us can use fun and funky words and an create poems that place pictures in your mind!
