"Effort Brings Reward"
My name is Gene Herbert and this is my second year teaching at Lincoln Heights School.
The areas which I am passionate about teaching are science, maths, and health/physical education. I enjoy these areas because of their vast range of opportunities to experience and discover new ways of thinking.
I am an active person and you will likely see me running from place to place. I enjoy incorporating humour into my teaching and creating a positive environment for my students.
To my students, I am looking forward to getting to know you and guiding you through your achievements.
To the whanau, I am looking forward to working alongside you to help progress your child's learning potential.
What is expected so that you are prepared for your learning...
- We follow the REACH Expectations in and outside of class.
- Stationary tools and books need to be in class by week one.
- Your hat needs to be brought to school in term one and four. Your hat will be kept in the cloak-bay.
- Home learning needs to be taken home on Monday and brought to school on Friday.
Please feel free to contact me through my school email or come in and see before or after school.
